The little tab you pull to open your soda, soup or any other aluminum can makes a significant impact on the Ronald McDonald House. The House recycles the tabs to generate funds to offset House expenses. By collecting the tabs and turning them in

to our Ronald McDonald House, you will help care for families who stay at the

House each year. This is an easy and fun project. Tabs can be dropped off at the school office or students can bring tabs to their homerooms. Our school goal is to collect 100 houses or boxes of tabs.

What is Ronald McDonald House?

Families from the Tri-State area and around the globe travel to Cincinnati seeking the world-renowned pediatric specialists at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Both Cincinnati Children’s and Ronald McDonald House recognize the hardships faced when families travel such great distances, leaving behind homes, jobs and community support systems. During these difficult times, Ronald McDonald House provides a safe haven and a supportive community, helping to lift the financial, physical and emotional burdens these families face. Guests staying at the House receive a comfortable bedroom in which to rest; home-cooked meals; laundry, gym and shared living areas; an on-site teacher; indoor and outdoor play areas for the ill children and their siblings; on-site entertainment and activities; and ongoing support from other families, volunteers and staff.

Ronald McDonald House serves all ages, socioeconomic levels, races and nationalities, regardless of anyone’s ability to pay. Since opening in 1982, the House has cared for more than 18,000 families from around the world, providing them a warm and supportive environment in which to rest so they can better care for their seriously ill children.
